Beautiful!

     Well, I have
thought many times to blog because I have had much to blog about (enjoying so much! :), but, as we can see, I am just now getting to it. I wanted to share a couple of photos from last week. I was in Ohio visiting my sister and her family, and from her back porch, we could watch the sunset - so beautiful! One day, as I was there, I was reading Psalms 19:1-2 "The heavens declare the glory of God, and the expanse proclaims the work of His hands. Day to day pours forth speech and night to night tells out knowledge." This was my experience there in Ohio. I was in a quiet, beautiful place in which I could just stop and rest in the Lord. This is exactly what I needed. The several weeks prior to this trip had been quite crazy so I really appreciate the Lord's bringing me to this place.

Today, I am touched by our Lord's  loveliness, preciousness, and sweetness to me. Isn't it so wonderful that we can be in love with Him? In Psalm 45:1-2 the Psalmist writes, "My heart overflows with a good matter; I speak what I have composed concerning the King. My tongue is the pen of a ready writer. You are fairer than the sons of men; grace is poured upon your lips; therefore God has blessed you forever." I ask the Lord to make my tongue as the pen of a ready writer, that I would write His praises on the hearts of men. (2 Cor.3) We do not just want to leave it to the heavens to declare the glory and wonder of our God. Rather, we want to be those speaking forth how lovely and wonderful He is. And if we are with Him, beholding Him, gazing into His eyes, how can we help but speak His praise to Him and to others from our overflowing heart? Lord, we love You most beautiful One!  This is the One that I enjoy. :)

1st time blogger....!

Well, this is my first attempt to ever have a blog. We will see how it goes. I can make no promises on the frequency, quality, or duration of my blogging. But the content of this blog will be what I enjoy - from a cup of coffee to the beautiful Lord Jesus (both of which I enjoy every day - hopefully more Jesus!) So, I hope as I enjoy, you will also enjoy.
